Wall of Death, a short film.

I happened to see this amazing video by Benedict Campbell on Helmet Hair, a terrific blog you should check out. I debated about whether or not to re-post it but I thought it was just too good not to share. You see something moving, you share it. It’s a short, wonderfully shot film about The Ken Fox Troupe, a family that tours with a Wall Of Death. This is just great work, I particularly love the background music and the intermittent use of black and white. As a fan of films I was moved, as a motorcyclist enthralled. Motorcycle fan or not you’ll like this. Enjoy and thanks to Helmet Hair for bringing it to my attention.

Good stuff. I liked the vid and the music, but the music seemed a little sad and these folks don't look sad. Looks like they're having more fun than I ever did schlepping off to the old 9 to 5. Actually it was more like the 8 to 6, but who's counting?

In an unrelated theme. Here's the craigslist bike of the week. The link will last only as long as the ad so click quick.

The XS650 is one of my favorite 70's UJM's. So much potential in such a simple package. Google XS650 and you will see what I mean. I am suffering from too much want right now.
