EZ-GO Helmet Strap

The folks at EZ-GO sent me a helmet strap to test and I have to say I find it extremely useful. I recently attended an arts festival near my hometown with my daughter. It was a warm day and I found the EZ-GO an easy solution to the problem of carrying a helmet around all day. On occasion I’ve simply left my helmet on my bike; but given helmets can cost over $200 and mine includes a Scala Rider radio worth another $200 I am hesitant to leave it behind in areas with a lot of foot traffic and where I cannot see my bike.

Available Styles

The EZ-GO is extremely economical, retailing at just $19.90, extremely rugged, stylish and easy to use. Newer models include a pocket for cell phone and keys (not shown in the model I tested). An added benefit is that EZ-GO lets you use your helmet to carry other items. I carry my camera and gloves. EZ-GO rolls up nicely for easy stowing and the buckle is a strong ratcheting type that provides confidence that it will not break or become loose.

The strap is adjustable which means my helmet stays conveniently behind my back while walking (to the point that I barely notice it is there). Overall I’m a big fan of the EZ-GO strap and highly recommend it. Click here to purchase via Amazon.
