Daredevil Durags Review

Cori approves

Everyone is familiar with the traditional “Do Rag”, the popular head covering many of us wear to keep cool, hide the dreaded “helmet hair” (well, those of us with hair) or simply as an expression of personal style. Well Johnny and Julie from Daredevil Durags have created a quality version of the time honored accessory. Daredevil Durags are an attractive and functional take on what is ordinarily merely a re-purposed handkerchief. They have added an elastic band which makes them very secure, they offer them in hundreds of attractive designs and they make them from a thin stretchy microfiber fabric. The elastic band holds the Daredevil Durag securely in place even at highway speeds, in fact they guarantee them to 80 miles per hour and promise “if the wind displaces it, we replace it”. In addition they are available in over 250 styles and colors.

Happy customers

The addition of the elastic band not only keeps Daredevil Durags in place (without the need for constant adjustment) but also makes them extremely versatile. They can be worn as a neck-warmer (a favorite of mine as I hail from Pennsylvania and often ride in temperatures below 30F), as a face-mask or as a headband. The versatility, quality construction and attractive designs are what set Daredevil Durags apart. This one item serves the purpose of several items I currently keep in my saddlebags for those cool days.

Bud with the facemask

Daredevil Durags have multiple uses: They can be worn to shield a helmet lining from moisture on hot days; they are a good looking means of self expression; when worn as a neck-warmer or face-mask they make those cool, early morning rides more comfortable and even as the temperature rises are thin enough to stay comfortable. There’s no need to limit their use to motorcycling. They can be used at the beach, hiking, bike riding or boating. They come in standard, supreme, deluxe and sports models and custom logo options are also available for groups or clubs. The sports models offer team logos from collegiate and professional sports.

Cori

Daredevil Durags are affordable, absorbent, machine washable and solidly made. Cori and I are impressed. Johnny and Julie travel to many motorcycle shows throughout the year so if you see them check them out, you’ll be glad you did. Daredevil Durags is a quality product that we are happy to support.

Ride safe.

Daredevil Durags have many purposeful ways to wear them for riding, working-out or plowing snow in Minnesota. Julie and Johnny can even custom place logo's or events in your favorite colors.
